For the photograph you feel.
The story you want to tell.
The work only you can make.
We’re building practical tools for photographers and filmmakers, shaped by the real work of creating. Thoughtful on their own. Working toward something better together.
OUR MISSION
Make the process simpler.
Keep the creativity yours.
Great tools should help you stay with the work.
Kreative Tools is an independent studio founded by photographer and filmmaker Rudy Salgado. It grew from a familiar feeling: too much time spent sorting, repeating, and moving things around, when all you want is to create.
We’re building focused tools to make those steps easier. Select helps you find the frames. Grids helps you shape the composition. Booth brings photographs into the event experience. And with Relay, we’re working toward connecting the pieces.
Your originals deserve care. Your decisions deserve respect. Your tools should give you room to do your best work.

RUDY SALGADOFOUNDER / LOS ANGELES
THE PERSON BEHIND THE TOOLS
It starts behind
the camera.
Meet Rudy Salgado.
Rudy is a Los Angeles–based photographer and videographer whose work spans concerts, fashion, events, artists, and brands. His approach puts emotion, timing, and storytelling at the heart of an image.
Kreative Tools grows out of that same practice: the hours spent reviewing frames, organizing a shoot, refining an edit, and getting the work ready to share. Rudy is building the tools he wants beside him through that process—and shaping them for fellow creatives.

A LITTLE MORE TO KNOW
What’s next?
When will the tools be available?
We’re developing and testing the first releases. There is no announced launch date yet. Release news and availability will be shared here as each tool is ready.
Which devices are you building for?
Select and Grids are being developed for Mac. Booth pairs a Mac control app with an iPad viewer. Relay is an early local transfer prototype; integration between the apps is still being developed. Final system requirements and supported workflows will be published with each release.
Will these tools replace my creative decisions?
No. Our approach is to support review, organization, and creative work while keeping you in control. Assisted suggestions should be reviewable, and your own decisions should remain authoritative.
What will they cost?
Pricing and licensing have not been announced. We’ll publish clear details before any product becomes available to purchase.
Can I share feedback or get involved?
Absolutely. Tell Rudy about your workflow, the repetitive tasks that slow you down, or the tool you’d like to try. Use the contact link below; any future testing opportunities will be announced separately.
